My name is Sara Kent and I am a mom to a precious one year old, Melanie Lynn. She is the inspiration behind all of my products. I've always found joy in creating graphic designs but strictly as a hobby. However after the birth of my daughter I started to realize the joys of childhood again. Bright colors, bold patterns and crazy fonts are common themes in my designs because they make me smile. I incorporated my graphics with everyday items such as sippy cups, tumblers, bag tags and brag books and realized the possibilities are endless. I hope that through my products I am able to bring the joy of childhood to others.

Such Cool Stuff
Melany and Jon Shapiro have bought and created collectibles and art since they were kids in the '70s. That led to a thriving business in vintage film posters. The artistic bug really bit a few years ago when they began creating metal wallets and pill boxes featuring fine art, pop, and retro images. The Shapiros live on California's Central Coast with their two children and a dog who doubles as their customer service manager. They put imagination into everything they do.

Little Painted Polka Dots is my outlet, to do what I love and love what I do. Not many people have the luxury of waking up every morning with passion and excitement about "going to work." I decided that I needed to be one of those people so I took a risk and followed my dream.
I have been working with art, in some form, from the very beginning. Whether it is photography, fabric, pottery, jewelry or whimsical wall art I always have a project going. I love creating gifts for other people and seeing children smile when they see their name in paint. Each piece is created by me personally upon ordering, which gives me the ability to create it with you in mind. I love working with my customers and allowing them input in color choice and design, no matter what the request is.
